Operations
 
Property Operations and Compliance Management Group: is responsible for: 1) operation of the development in accordance with the financial projections, 2) regulatory compliance with governing documents and federal regulations, 3) asset management in accordance with the capital reinvestment plan and cash flow requirements of the stakeholders.
This group essentially adopts the financial model created by the development group and incorporates it into a management plan for the property. Using web based applications, strong monthly financial reporting, and trained personnel, the management group assures the asset performs in accordance with the plan.

Laurie Christopher provides support to the Operations and Development Group in the areas of resident services and program development, fundraising, compliance monitoring of grant funds, marketing, and community and partnership outreach. In addition, she is responsible for the establishment, and ongoing oversight and administration of Multifamily HUD Service Coordinator Programs and Advisory Boards.

Laurie has over 20 years of management experience, 15 years of which have been in affordable housing and has substantial experience in HUD Section 8 and LIHTC. She has worked in virtually every facet of the affordable housing industry including being the prior Director of Operations for NWRECC. Her proven track record of accomplishments has earned her numerous awards in recognition of her achievements including Best Practices award by the Rocky Mountain area office of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the Howard Bishop Award for a non-profit property.

Laurie was featured on the front page of the Billings Gazette for her accomplishments in turning a severely troubled property around, and received commendations from Senators for her efforts in developing a Neighborhood Networks Center. Laurie was recently featured on HUD's national website as a success story for her success in establishing the largest Neighborhood Networks center in Idaho. In addition due to her recent success and community partnership development, HUD has invited Laurie to speak at HUD's Regional Technical Assistance Workshops (RTAWs) in Texas and Pennsylvania.

During her career, Laurie has been actively involved in AHMA organizations, including former President of the Oregon AHMA Chapter and currently serves as the President for the Idaho AHMA Chapter. We look to Laurie's demonstrated ability to transform affordable housing properties to make our portfolio models of best practices in our industry.
